Today our Hardin Northern Caps and Crayons program carried on the Thanksgiving celebration in the best way. Our seniors visited their kindergarten buddies and shared the book Turkey Trouble.🦃📖 After the story, everyone jumped into a fun craft where they helped their buddy disguise their turkey—just like in the book.
The groups then headed to lunch together, giving the seniors and kindergarteners time to sit, talk, and enjoy each other’s company. This program continues to be such a heartwarming tradition. One that strengthens connections, builds friendships, and reminds us what makes Hardin Northern so special!

The fourth grade was full of smiles today as they practiced some of the rules of using water color and discussed positive and negative space. The painted Gratitude Trees for the upcoming holiday. 🦃
Second grade had a sweet day! After reading The Humble Pie by Jory John, we explored what it means to be humble, identified problems and solutions, and wrapped it all up with an apple vs. pumpkin pie taste test. Students shared their opinions in writing — with lots of delicious inspiration!
Motivation Monday!
“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”
You don’t need to be the most gifted-you just need to be the most determined. Bears, outwork your obstacles. Show up. Hustle. That effort will set you apart more than talent alone ever could. Have a great week!

Back then, they were the Panthers for the Dola School, but today our Journalism class carries on the tradition of telling the Polar Bear story.

“You’ve got this!”
Whatever’s on your plate this week-homework, tests, games, or just getting through the day-you can handle it. Bears, take a deep breath, stand tall, and remind yourself: You’ve got this!

After reading To Kill a Mockingbird, Mrs. Breece’s English 9 students were tasked with creating their own board game based on the book. Students were required to create their own instruction manual, game board, character pieces, and playing cards. Each group then had the chance to play another group’s board game!
