Today, Daisy Mae, Hardin Northern’s beloved therapy dog, had a wonderful time visiting our all-day and our half-day preschool classes! She got to introduce herself to the kids, and there were tons of happy faces and big smiles all around. We’re so excited to see the positive impact Daisy Mae will have on our students this year. The kids absolutely loved meeting her, and we know she’s going to make a difference! #HNProud

Proud of the Hardin Northern Elementary students for doing an amazing job during yesterday's annual bus safety evacuation drills! They listened attentively and learned how to safely evacuate the bus in an emergency and how to cross the road. Great work, kids!🌟

On Monday, August 26th, the Hardin Northern Varsity Golf team played in the 2nd NWCC tournament at Birch Run in North Baltimore. The Bears placed 2nd as a team with an impressive score of 383! Special shoutout to Justin Thiel and Preston Grappy who tied for 3rd place with an 86. Results from HN Jr. High Volleyball at North Baltimore on August 26th. HN's 7th Grade Score: 25, 25 North Baltimore’s 7th Grade Score: 13, 23 Reagan Camper led the team in kills with 3. Sawyer Weihrauch had a great game with several digs in the back row. We have improved to 6-0 on the year. HN's 8th Grade Score: 25, 25 North Baltimore’s 8th Grade Score: 23, 20 Emma Ayers had a great game with 14 assists. It was a nail biter but the girls pulled through in the end raising their record to 5-0. Way to go Bears!

We are excited to announce the upcoming home football schedule and events surrounding the games. We hope to see as many of you as possible and celebrate the efforts of the community in this huge endeavor that you all have made possible. Thank you and GO BEARS!

Thank you to the Hardin Northern community for the amazing new facilities that are currently under construction. With new construction comes growing pains and we are in the midst of that right now. With growing pains comes some sacrifice in different areas. We are aware that there is a lot of chatter in the community that the game field is not going to be playable for varsity competitions. That is not the case. Hardin Northern will host its first home game on September 6th on the varsity game field versus Cory-Rawson. This will be an exciting night with a grand opening of an incredible new facility. You will also notice that the concession stand has taken on a new look, including a lot of volunteer hours by local parents, and an investment in new windows and a new HVAC system. In addition, it is the intention of the athletic department to move the September 12th and September 19th junior high football games up to the new game field, but this is a weather and field contingent decision that will be made by the athletic department and administration under the guidance of our field maintenance consultants. We look forward to all of you coming out to support all of our student-athletes and not only enjoying our inside facilities but also being proud of our progress on our outside facilities.
