Last night the Hardin Northern Volleyball teams traveled to Elgin for some great competition.

Our Bears battled hard, with standout performances from:
Lainey Thomas - 20 digs
Kendall Frank - 22 assists, 13 digs
Baylie Bacon - 15 kills, 17 digs
Addy Bacon - 10 kills, 12 digs
Lexi Oakley - 16 digs
We were also thrilled to have 37 students ride the Spirit Bus! Their energy and support filled the gym, and they had an amazing time cheering on the Bears! A very special THANK YOU goes out to two generous individuals who covered admission costs for all of the students on the bus.
Moments like this remind us what makes Hardin Northern so special. We live in a great community filled with Polar Bear pride, where students and supporters lift each other up!
Congratulations to Hardin Northern’s very own first grader, Liza Ruhlen, on being the winner of the 2025 Hardin County Fair Princess! We are so proud of you, Liza. Way to represent the Polar Bears!

This morning the Hardin Northern Marching Band kicked off the day by greeting students with high-fives, big smiles, and plenty of cheers as they got off the bus. What an awesome way to spread positivity and Polar Bear pride! Let’s keep the energy going and make it a GREAT day, Bears!

This Friday night at the football game, the athletic boosters will be holding a Booster Drive through the end of the 3rd quarter. The cost is $20.00 and your support goes directly toward our Polar Bear athletes and programs.

School picture day is September 17th! 📷
Mrs. Cano's Walking Club stepped it up and challenged Mrs. Cano on who could speed walk the most laps on the track. Mrs. Cano was left "snickering" as the students took the challenge to heart and some of us managed over 1.5 miles in under 25 minutes. Great work to the group for pushing each other to get better and for beating Mrs. Cano!

Results from JH Volleyball against Ada on August 27th.
The start time for this Saturday's HS volleyball tri-match with Arlington and Ada at HN has been changed to 9:00 am. The JV will play in the JH gym and the Varsity in the HS gym. The schedule will be as follows:

Spirit Bus Alert!🚌📣
Mr. Kauffman would like to take a spirit bus to the high school girls volleyball game tomorrow night at Elgin to help cheer on the volleyball teams! If you don't know what that is, it is essentially a bus full of students who want to come out and support our team on the road, but maybe don't have a ride or means to get over there. Or perhaps you don't want to spend your own gas money. Lots of schools do this to rally behind their team, especially in big games and this is a big game! It is a big night and the game has a lot of implications on the line for the league and our girls need our energy! Leave time would be 4:30 p.m. from the main entrance of the school. He will need at least 15-20 takes minimum to make this happen. Students will need permission from your parents and will need to make sure they have a ride home once we get back to the school. Students will need to bring money to get into the game since it is not free. In the event Mr. Kauffman does not get enough people committed, there will not be a spirit bus going. Email Mr. Kauffman and let him know if you would like to ride the bus as soon as possible. The theme for the game in “WHITE OUT” so wear as much white as you can!
