The HN spirit kept going strong after the bonfire as our students in grades 7-12 stayed late, working hard on decorating the hallways for Homecoming week. They’re doing such a great job, and it’s awesome to see all the energy and excitement they’re putting into it while having fun! Polar Bear pride!

It's the day the 4th graders have been waiting for (and many parents dread)! 4th graders received their very own recorders this week! Before receiving recorders, students practiced producing the proper air used to play the recorder by seeing who could make the biggest bubbles. While reading The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, sixth graders created a map on the bulletin board showing the journey of Dorothy and her friends. They have compared the novel to the movie and are in the process of writing persuasive essays.

Today was "Twin Day" as we continue celebrating Homecoming week with our spirit theme! We were seeing double all over the school with so many creative twin pairs! Here are just a few pictures of some of the awesome duos who joined in on the fun! Go Bears!
