Second grade scientists explored forces today! We learned all about pushes and pulls by creating marshmallow launchers—and ended with a sweet marshmallow showdown!
Huge congratulations to Tom Spiese (First Place!) and to Alexus Castle (Second Place!) for finishing 12 levels of prefixes and suffixes in only three days! This took impressive concentration!!

Our fourth graders have been kicking off the new year with some great group discussions on opinion writing! Stay tuned to hear how our essays turn out at the end of the unit.
Special Recognition Night at Hardin Northern! 🏈
Join us on Saturday night, January 10th, as Hardin Northern Boys Basketball takes the home court for an exciting game, and a very special moment of recognition.
We will be honoring our 2002 Hardin Northern Football State Runner-Up team for their incredible achievement and lasting impact on our school and community. These athletes represent Hardin Northern pride, hard work, and tradition, and we’re excited to celebrate them together.
Come out, cheer on the Bears, as we honor a team and an accomplishment that will always be remembered at Hardin Northern. Reserve game starts at 4:00 p.m. and the recognition will be prior to the Varsity game.
