To begin their unit on rocks, 6th grade students participated in a rock show and tell this week. They identified the type of rock, looked at different features of their rocks, and gave their rock a name.
The first grade students at Hardin Northern have been researching bats. We have watched videos, read books, and taken notes. The students used their notes to make their own books. The used nonfiction text features like headings, bold words and table of contents. They each had a turn to read the book to the class. They enjoyed painting a bat craft.

It was Homecoming at Hardin Northern tonight! Congratulations to Christian Rostorfer and Heidi Trachsel on being crowned our 2024 Homecoming King and Queen!
