Ohio Graduation Requirements class of 2023 and beyond

The next opportunity to take End Of Course Exams is in December of 2020

NOTE: All 11th graders will take the ACT test in February at no cost to the student. This is a state mandate and could provide an alternative route to graduation.

March 13- Current Juniors (rising seniors) receive scheduling materials in English class.
March 15- Current Sophomores (rising juniors) receive scheduling materials in Biology class.
March 16- Current Freshman (rising sophomores) receive scheduling materials in physical science class.
March 20- Current 8th graders (rising freshman) receive scheduling materials in math class.
March 21- Current 7th graders (rising 8th graders) receive scheduling materials in GRIT.
March 22- 2 hour delay for teacher PD.
March 24- rising 7th graders and rising 8th graders’ course request sheets due.
March 27- rising senior scheduling window opens online.
March 28- Elks Teen of Month Luncheon for March and April winners.
March 29- rising junior scheduling window opens online.
March 31- rising sophomore scheduling window opens online.
March 31- HN Community Scholarship, Norma Bibler Scholarship, and Polar Bear Legacy Scholarship applications due.
April 3- rising freshman scheduling window opens online.
April 5- 1:30 Early release
April 6-10 no school for Easter break
April 13- Apollo open house in the evening.
April 15- ACT test date
April 18- ELA 7, 8, 10 end of course exams part I
April 20- ELA 7, 8, 10 end of course exams part II
