Hardin Northern Soils Teams Advance to State

Written by: Cadence Coy

On Thursday, September 29, the Hardin Northern soils teams competed for state in the district soils contest.  Both urban and rural teams worked hard to advance to state! The urban team came in third in the district and the rural team dug out second place competing against many teams!  Cooper Thomas placed first for the urban team followed by Leif Trachsel. Placing first for the Rural team was Zeb Wilson followed by second place Landon Wetherill.  Both teams are preparing this week by studying and continuing to practice.  They will compete at the state soils contest on Saturday October 8. The Hardin Northern FFA chapter wishes the teams the best of luck!
