There will be loud booms coming from the school yard next week as the History Brigade will host its 5th Annual Living History Day next Tuesday, Oct. 4. Living historians from around Ohio will demonstrate many aspects of past eras. Everything from the Viking Era to the  War of 1812 to World War II will be covered. Students will learn about Civil War cannons, the roles women play in World War II, and what it was like to be on the homefront during the Civil War and World War II. Ms. Cross’ FCS classes will introduce students to a Pioneer Wedding in Ohio and HIstory Brigade students will talk about vintage school houses and famous historical figures like George Washington and Abigail Adams.
