3rd graders extended their learning from their field trip that took them back to 1894 by looking at different artifacts and comparing the one room schoolhouse to what their classroom looks today. They even mixed history with science as they made their own butter (similar to how it was made in the past) and talked about how cream changed from a liquid to a solid.  They then taste tested their butter to see how it compared to the butter they buy at the store.
