Cadence Coy is one of this year’s queen candidates for the 2022 Hardin County Royalty Contest. Cadence is 17 years old and the daughter of Chris and Lori Coy of Kenton. Cadence has been showing market goats for three years and pygmy goats for 1 year but has been involved since 2017 for woodworking and art. When she was younger she spent a lot of time at the fair admiring the animals and enjoying fair food. She has been an officer for FFA for three years and is currently the student advisor. She is also involved on the junior fair board committee. Cadence is looking forward to the 2022 fair this year because of the people and bringing the community together. She can’t wait to see everyone come out and support the projects, the fair, and the people who work hard to put the fair together!
