This week Hardin Northern’s Government classes visited the Hardin County Courthouse in Kenton. We toured the courthouse, sat in on a criminal sentencing, and spoke with several county officials about the importance of local government and the legal system.
We would like to give a big thank you to Max Trachsel for helping arrange the visit. And thank you Commissioner Striker, Judge Steve Christopher, and Chief Deputy Burns for taking the time out of your very busy day to provide us with thoughtful insight into role of local government and our rights and responsibilities as citizens.
It was a great day to walk to Our Place Family Dining to enjoy a delicious lunch at afterwards.
