The 8th grade ag class has been learning about the agriculture industry as a whole. The past week they discussed the different careers of the industry that fed into the agriculture economy. After class discussions, notes and lecture the students were tasked with researching a career and/or famous person who contributed to Ag. They then had to present a poster with information along with dress alike and bring in 3 items the career or person would use on a daily basis. The class had visits from a veterinarian, a park ranger, florists, George Washington Carver and even John Deere! The work of these students will be displayed in the ag room on Polar Bear Showcase night, be sure to come check it out!
