Mental Health & Wellness Day was a huge success! Students in Grades 7-12 had the opportunity to:

-Build connections with one another through ice breaker activities with Jeff Stec 

-Communicate thoughts, feelings, & things they felt would benefit the student body through small group discussions with staff members

-Journal their thoughts, feelings, & future goals

-Learn how to use focus & breathing techniques in yoga with Kim Reisinger

-Create ‘imperfect’ pieces using origami folding skills

-Express their personality through an artistic project

Students ended the day with an emotional presentation by Terrance Talley which summarized the importance of building relationships with others, talking about mental health & their feelings, and never giving up.
