By: HN FFA Reporter, Brenna Flowers On Friday, September 27, 2019, the Hardin Northern FFA chapter held its annual homecoming barbeque. The chapter sold a total of 1175 meals proudly surpassing their goal of 1000 meals sold. The senior Ag class was in charge of the barbeque and appointed committees to handle all areas of the fundraiser. The committees lined up donations, did the ordering, organized different packaging stations and a drive thru for customers who needed to grab and go. The meals were assembled throughout the school day and evening by junior and senior ag classes and by very helpful parents. The chapter would like to send a big thank you to Bob and Jack McBride and James Warmbrod for the assistance of cooking the meat, parent volunteers for baking cookies and getting the meat for the barbeque, and the senior Ag class for planning and putting it all together. We could not have this successful fundraiser without all of you! Funds from this event will aid in sending students to Conventions and Conferences as well as CDE teams to contest.
