The FFA chapter started off a competitive CDE season with an eager rural soils team ready to compete! The team first took a stab at judging, and placed fifth overall at the invite on September 19th that the HN Chapter host. The team for the HN annual invite consisted of Luke Wilson, Lance Good, Renee Newton, Owen Wetherill, Wade Crooks, Aliya Obenour and Joe Johnson.  

On September 27, the team traveled to McComb for the district soils competition. The HN team placed fifth overall, which qualified them for state!  Luke Wilson having the highest score of the team, individually placed fifth overall. The team for the district invite consisted of Luke Wilson, Lance Good, Renee Newton, Owen Wetherill and Aliya Obenour. The team is coached by Andy Wilson. Mr. Wilson and Ms. Overs are excited to see what the team is able to accomplish next year!
