On November 10th, the HN FFA had their second ag lesson of the year, this time with the first grade classes. The first grade polar bears visited the Ag building to learn about what harvesting, why tractors are used, and the different types of crops harvested during this busy season. Various objects were brought in for the students to see, such as soybeans and corn kernels for the students to look at and touch. The highlight of the first graders visit was being able to sit in the tractor that was at school for the day. Thank you to Wilson Farms and Crooks Family for the use of machinery and crops to help the young polar bears learn more about the harvest season.
