The 2nd grade students at Hardin Northern recently competed in an Earth Day Poster competition. They worked for one week on designing and making their posters after many discussions on what Earth Day is, how to take care of our Earth, and ways we can change our daily lives in order to help our Earth. The students were left to use their creativity to complete this activity. The only direction they were given was that the poster needs to encompass Earth Day and/or ways to help take care of our Earth. Each class voted on their top three posters from their classroom. Then, those six posters got voted on by the entire 2nd grade. Once the votes were tallied, Kendall came out the victor.
