Danielle Miller is a senior at Hardin Northern and a well known marching band star. Miller auditioned for the OMEA District III Honors Band and was accepted into the band. All the schools in District III of the OMEA chose students in band or choir to audition. The students were given an audition piece to practice and they went to Van Wert for the audition.
Once accepted, the students have two or three different three hour practices. They will then perform on live TV.
Miller said, “When I found out I was accepted I was very excited that I was given a chance to be a part of something so fun and amazing.”
The live performance will take place sometime in 2017.
