HN seniors Lydia Rush and Sebastian Bejarano were named Elks Teens of the Month for November. On November 10th, Rush and Bejarano attended a luncheon at the Elks. They were announced, informed everyone present of their future plans, and then got their pictures taken for the Kenton Times newspaper. They also received a certificate and a pin for their accomplishments.
“It meant a lot to me to be the Elks Teen of the Month because it was a great honor to be picked and it is a great scholarship opportunity,” Rush said.
“It was an honor being chosen for the Elks. It’s a great organization and being a part of the scholars was a great experience,” Bejarano said.
