Cassandra (Cassie) Miller, a senior at HN, received the Honda Math Medal on November 3rd for being the top math student in her senior class. Miller attended a banquet in Marysville at the Honda plant to receive her medal.

This award is given to the student with the highest average in all math classes and Miller was accomplished enough to be that student. There were 120 students who received the award and each was given a medal, certificate,  t-shirt, and a bag.

“It means a lot because only one person in my class got the award and it was me. I also really like math so I was excited to earn a math award,” Miller said.

Congratulations Cassie! Keep up the hard work!
