I am one Superintendent from nearly 40 school districts in Northwest and West Central Ohio that have joined together to form a network to advocate for positive changes in public education. The Northwest/West Central Ohio Public School Advocacy Network grew from concerns over a loss of local control in public education.
The first initiative of the network is to survey people about public education. The goal of the survey is to find out the perception people have of their school districts, where they believe decisions about public schools should be made and to measure the general knowledge people have about public schools, decision making and how public tax dollars are spent.
You can access the survey at the following link to let us you’re your feelings on issues facing our local school district. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8F5K2W8
The network of superintendents will gather later in the spring to analyze the survey results. The results will help guide the group toward future communications and advocacy initiatives.
